This past weekend I was out of town visiting one of the greatest cities in the world. The Live Music Capital of the World...Austin, TX...The ATX.What did I do in Austin? I went to the Austin City Limits Music Festival now in its 7th year.
Who played? Foo Fighter, Alison Krauss & Robert Plant, The Raconteurs, David Byrne, John Fogerty, The Kills, Fleet Foxes, Mike Farris, Black Joe Lewis, Sunny Sweey, Alejendro Escovedo, The Black Keys...and I could go on and on.
Did I have fun? Of course! I was in Austin, TX! Great food, music, drinks, and the wonderful people of the great state of Texas. I can't wait until the festival in 2009.
Here's to another year patiently waiting :)
