EMPAC

RPI's Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center is set for its Grand Opening October 3-19. All indications point to this being a world class facility for both musical and theatrical performances. It is yet another unique building being added to the skyline in the Tri-city region.

Sunflowers

Recently my giant sunflower bloomed in the garden. As I was taking pictures there were a few pollinators (bees) working in the field. You may be able to see one of them in the lower third of the picture.

Black Hole

This is what I would like to call the "Black Hole" at RPI. It's a walkway I came across the other day. They are obviously watching out for peoples safety (i.e. don't want people throwing things onto the cars
below).

Back to the grindstone

Classes began last week and that means students have overtaken Albany. Library's are now beginning to fill up as students take refuge for quiet spots. This was taken during my trip to RPI.
