Today is pretty gloomy outside. Not the best day to be playing Volleyball, but there are some people who are willing to tough it out.

This is a picture of University Hall on the SUNY Albany Campus. It houses the admissions office and administrations operations along with some other functions which I can't tell you about (I'm not really sure what goes on behind all those glass windows).

Halloween Recap

My Halloween recap comes in the form of an Etch-a-Sketch. Did it work you ask? Why yes! You could turn the knobs and it would write on the paper. The only drawback was that you couldn't erase what you just wrote. Still, one of the best costumes of the night.

Diwali Utsan 2008

This past Sunday many Hindu's celebrated Diwali Utsan, a major holiday celebrated across the globe at the "Festival of Lights". There were wonderful performances and excellent food to celebrate the occasion.

Election Day

Did you vote in the 2008 Presidential Election? I hope you did. Here in New York, we still use the antiquated system of lever voting machines. I was a little taken aback when I went to vote this morning (6:05 AM - 14th person in my district) and found the lever voting system. As a young adult, I felt quite out of place when the 70 year old man had to tell me how to shut the curtain. Is this really the best we can do New York?

Reflection Pool

This is a shot of the New York State Capitol and the reflection pool that is at the Empire State Plaza. Soon they will have the Empire State Plaza setup for ice skating and holiday festivities for the season.
